Kromě skvělých soubojů v podání slovenských zápasníků a zápasnic jsme viděli také obě semifinále evropské ligy mistrů v MMA – Tipsport Gamechangeru. V rámci prvního semifinále se utkali obávaný polský veterán Krzysztof Jotko proti německo-íránskému zápasníkovi Hojatu Khajevandovi. Krzysztof v zápase potvrdil svou pozici favorita, ačkoli mu soupeř nadělal větší problémy, než mnozí předpokládali. Po třech kolech však Jotko zvítězil na body a ukázal, proč je hlavním favoritem na celkové vítězství.Druhý zápas obstarali současný šampion střední váhy Kerim Engizek a vycházející hvězda OKTAGONu Dominik Humburger. Duel, který tito borci předvedli, byl nejen vrchol večera, ale. Dominik rozpoutal už v prvním kole absolutní válku a Kerim se nechal strhnout. Zápas se přeléval nahoru a dolů, oba trefovali tvrdé kombinace a ani jeden nehodlal ustoupit. Ve třetím kole už to vypadalo, že se „Hambáčovi” podaří šampiona zlomit, ale nešťastným kopem trefil Engizeka mezi nohy a ten dostal podle pravidel nárok na pětiminutovou pauzu. Přestože nevyužil plných pět minut, krátká pauza stačila k tomu, aby se oklepal z nejhoršího a v závěrečné minutě si přetáhl kolo na svou stranu. Po 15 minutách fantastického MMA zvítězil Kerim Engizek na body a stal se druhým finalistou třetí sezóny Tipsport Gamechanger.Kdo se stane vítězem letošní pyramidy? Přes 10 let neporažený šampion nebo v Evropě neporažený polský veterán? To se dozvíme během vyvrcholení letošního roku na turnaji OKTAGON 81. Vezmeme si to ale postupně.V Hannoveru jsme se dočkali velkolepého návratu Davida Dvořáka, který před 6 lety odešel do UFC a nyní se vrátil s cílem získat titul šampiona. Úvodní zkoušku zvládl na výbornou, když knokautoval nebezpečného Walida už v prvním kole. Nabízí se tak možný titulový zápas Dvořák vs. Zhumagulov. Dočkáme se ho ještě v tomto roce? Pozici jedničky těžké váhy potvrdil Lazar Todev, když na body porazil velezkušeného Brazilce Luise Barbosu. V hlavním zápase hannoverské karty pak Gjoni Palokaj předvedl, že patří k těm nejlepším borcům pérové váhy, když jednoznačně porazil Jakuba Batfalského a ukončil tak jeho slibně rozjetou šňůru vítězství.Frankfurt zažil neskutečný večer. Začátek turnaje byl sice pomalejší, o to větší tempo ale nabral v závěru. Alina Dalaslan slavila fantastické vítězství po trefeném loktu z otočky a její hvězda vystřelila zas o kousek výš. Frimpong s Gabalem předvedli neuvěřitelně napínavou bitvu. Po třetím kole se i vlivem únavy českého borce radoval z vítězství nesmrtelný Ir a posunul se na 8. příčku žebříčku lehké váhy. Frédéric Vosgröne předvedl další demolici na zemi, kde brazilskému soupeři nedal vůbec žádnou šanci. V hlavním zápase se pak legenda německé MMA scény Daniel Weichel dočkal vítězného návratu, po kterém museli být i ti největší tvrďáci trochu naměkko. Připsal si 43. vítězství v kariéře, a to na německé půdě, v domovském Frankfurtu před svými věrnými fanoušky. Co víc si přát.Minulá sobota pak přinesla velká vítězství i hodně hořké porážky. Marco Novák otočil beznadějně vyvíjející se zápas a ve třetím kole si připsal výhru TKO. Jedna z největších hvězd slovenského MMA Samuel „Pirát” Krištofič se nešťastně zranil v polovině prvního kola a Cordero si tak připsal páté vítězství v řadě. „Pirátovi” přejeme brzké uzdravení a už teď se těšíme, až ho uvidíme opět v kleci. Ivan Buchinger opět ukázal, že ještě nikam neodešel a stále dokáže porazi i ty nejtvrdší borce v divizi. Richieho Smullena utáhl na submisi ve třetím kole a pojistil si tak svou pozici #1 žebříčku lehké váhy. The former OKTAGON middleweight champion reigned over the division for 956 days and defended the title three times, against names like Karlos Vémola, Alex Lohoré, and Piotr Wawrzyniak. Today he sits at #77 in the global FightMatrix rankings —though at the start of 2024, he was ranked as high as #35. But then came two consecutive losses —something that hadn’t happened to Kincl in 15 years. My inner foodie and the strict requirements of my weight class are constantly negotiating with each other – and the scale usually has the final say.You are a Berliner but compete internationally for Turkey. What does this dual identity mean to you – especially ahead of a title fight?Berlin taught me everything I needed technically and mentally as a fighter, such as discipline and persistence. But the passion and fire – that comes from my Turkish soul. When I represent Turkey, I represent the belief that with hard work and the right mindset, anything is possible, no matter where you come from. It motivates me deeply when I hear that someone was inspired to start training because of my fights.
