Coronation of the New Lightweight King

OKTAGON is heading to Munich on November 22, where for the fourth time the city will experience a spectacular MMA event and fierce battles between Europe’s elite fighters.

Former first OKTAGON lightweight champion “Dynamite” Legierski is reaching for the title again after more than five years. But standing in his way is the three-organization champion Attila Korkmaz, who’s determined to prove that Legierski will never rule the lightweight division again.

A year after his clash with Eckerlin for the title of “King of Germany” in front of a record 60,000 fans at a football stadium, one of the biggest names in German MMA and OKTAGON history, Christian Jungwirth, is back. After some rest and with new motivation, he’s preparing for a tough battle against elite fighter Stolze — a former UFC competitor with a win over title challenger Andrej Kalašnik.

The Viking from Munich, Germany’s best light heavyweight, #2 in the OKTAGON rankings and #55 in the world, Poppeck, with 11 first-round KOs, is ready to collide in a catchweight bout at 88 kg with Slovak power-puncher Marek Mazúch, who has already knocked out Apollo Silva, Cordero, and David Zawada.

It’s the 19th OKTAGON fight for longtime staple Maté Kertész. With two memorable wars against Kozma and wins over Stolze and Jungwirth, he’s among the organization’s greatest names. His opponent: the undefeated submission specialist and untouchable Ares FC champion Felix Klinkhammer, with 10 straight victories over the last 11 years. Can Kertész hand him his first loss?

Dangerous finisher Brajhsori faces the Underground King Kohout, who holds a win over Pukač — the man who knocked out the King of Germany, Eckerlin.

#7 vs. #8 in the lightweight rankings — both riding five-fight win streaks. Two-time Austrian champion striker Aksu, with all 13 wins coming before the final bell, faces off against showman Frimpong, who has knocked out Gabala and Topallaj.

Multiple-time champion of two German organizations, Black-Dell, goes head-to-head with Finland’s top prospect Eemil Kurhela, who has finished 7 of his 8 wins.

A card stacked with the biggest OKTAGON names, local MMA stars, and hungry talents dreaming of becoming new champions — and the alphas of OKTAGON.
