Slovak professional MMA fighter from OKTAGON MMA organization. Former champion of Cage Warriors, M-1 Global and OKTAGON. His home club is SFG Trnava. He started his professional MMA career in 2008 and was successful in his debut. He rose as a star as his fights progressed. We rank him among the greatest pioneers of mixed martial arts in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. At OKTAGON 21 he fought Ronald Paradeiser for the lightweight title. The clash of generations was clearly better for Ivan Buchinger, who managed to choke Paradeiser in the first round. One belt was not enough for him and he became a double champion at OKTAGON 27, defeating Vojto Barborik on points.
