Vémola vs. Langer. Battle for the light-heavyweight throne 

A clash between champions and who are worlds apart. The reigning light-heavyweight king Karlos Vémola will go up against interim champion, the Slovak giant, Pavol Langer. On 07.10, legendary former double champion Ivan Buchinger will also be appearing in Bratislava for the first time in over two years.

These two are so different that they would never meet in real life, but now they must! Vémola will defend his title against #83 in the world rankings and current interim champion, Langer, who is in the best condition of his life and has earned his right to claim the throne. 

Ivan Buchinger returns to the city where two years ago he fought one of the best fights in OKTAGON history against Barborik and became double champion, although this doesn’t worry his opponent Jakub Dohnal one bit. 

"Diamantový Čávo" Pukač will make his first appearance in over two years in the Slovak capital where he will be challenged by "Mighty Rooster" Kohout, who plans on dominating the welterweight division. 

There will also be the huge comeback of "Silent Killer" Lucia Szabová. 

You can look forward to an elite battle between the #2 and #4 in the lightweight division, Legierski vs. Ryšavý, both of whom have the number one spot in the rankings in their sights. 

There will also be a battle between the top athletes of the European welterweight division, Siwiec vs. Gogoladze, the latter of which has achieved 8 finishes in under 100 seconds.  

Incredible French heavyweight fighter Boukichou loves a good challenge and in his debut fight for OKTAGON will take on Polish warrior Pałasz. 

The tournament will also feature Slovak knockout artist Mazuch.

OKTAGON 47 will be another awesome sports event with a stunning audiovisual show.
