First, he lost on points to Michał Dreczkowski, then to Maciej Różański, and finally came a TKO from Alejandro Arcas. "It was a challenging period. I didn't have much fight pace, and even though I was working at 120% all the time, some detail was always missing. After the second loss, I changed a lot, pushed even harder, and even though everything looked great, the third loss came. That was a sporting tragedy for me. However, I kept working, got a chance in OKTAGON, and seized it. I believed the whole time that I would turn the streak around," Garba describes.Today, he trains at the Polish gym Berserkers Team Bielsko-Biała. "There are a lot of very high-quality guys in Berserkers, not only in my weight class, who also have great results. Here in Silesia, finding big guys who are comprehensive in MMA is simply a problem. I'm definitely not saying we don't have any here, they are just not in one place, and there are fewer of them than in Poland. In my eyes, MMA in Poland is something of a national sport, and that reflects on the quality of the training. That the consistency paid off and that one must never give up. I take it as a reward for all the hard work, and I am grateful to OKTAGON for this opportunity," Garba looks back. Speaking without hesitation about where he wants to take his career in the organization: "I want to reach the top.
