"I was in prison many times because of street fights. And that's why it took me so long to turn professional," he admits openly today. He connects it with his Chechen upbringing: "We grew up fighting, everyone taught us to be a man. A man must know how to fight, a man must protect his family." Today, his relationship with his new home is completely different. "Today I meet Germans on the street and they tell me: you make us happy, you bring honor to our country," he adds proudly.<h2>THE LONG ROAD TO THE PROFESSIONAL CAGE</h2>Before he first encountered MMA, Dulatov went through a solid school of combat sports. He started with boxing, competing in over fifteen amateur bouts. Gradually, he added kickboxing. After years in the ring, he transitioned to MMA, and his very first amateur fight indicated that he possessed more than just heavy hands. In September 2018 at Integra FC 10, he defeated Jan Roth by choke in the second round, showing that despite his striking roots, he knew how to finish a fight on the ground. He turned professional five years later, in October 2023, when at Sparta CF 3 he knocked down Dimitrije Ninić via TKO in the first round. It is precisely the combination of boxing, kickboxing, and grappling experience that makes him such a dangerous fighter today. Combat sports were not his solo pursuit. His three brothers, Djibril, Sulumbek, and Islam (who now fights in the UFC), share the same passion.<h2>IN OKTAGON HE DOES NOT KNOW SECOND ROUNDS</h2>Under the yellow-and-black flag, Dulatov fully confirmed that he is among the organization's most dangerous finishers. His record speaks clearly. Five professional fights, five wins, all before the distance, and he has never seen a second round. His debut at OKTAGON 66 in Düsseldorf ended with a guillotine choke in 16 seconds, making him the holder of the fastest submission win in the organization.
