Thirty-one-year-old Gjoni Palokaj was born in Hannover, but his roots go back to Prizren in Kosovo. Dalaslan landed a hard spinning elbow that split her opponent's forehead open, and because of the cut the fight was stopped. The charged-up heavy hitter waited for nothing, threw himself after his shaken opponent and unleashed a destructive series. The second round then belonged clearly to Korkmaz, who landed a clean spinning kick to the head after which a finish hung in the air, and all three judges awarded him the round. Everything was therefore decided by the final five minutes, a war full of sharp exchanges in which Said-Khusein Akhyadov was the more accurate.
