Although Poppeck started strong in the first round, he suddenly threw an illegal knee, and instead of a heated bout, we got a No Contest after Strzelczyk understandably refused to continue. How do you respond?</strong></p><p>During a fight, I always keep a clear head. I don’t have a specific plan—everything happens too fast. I have a rough idea of how things might go, but I’m the type who loves to improvise. I’m used to tough situations in life, and I have no problem proving myself in the cage.</p><p><strong>What does your mental preparation look like?</strong></p><p>I clear my head, embrace challenging situations, and don’t let fear or nervousness hold me back. On the contrary—I use them to stay focused and alert.</p><p><strong>And what about your physical preparation? What does a day in the life of Max Holzer before a fight look like?</strong></p><p>My day includes two training sessions and a strict diet. I also coach youth and sometimes give private lessons. In the end, Zhumagulov took the final round, mainly thanks to punches that seemed to belong in a different weight class. Aby fought valiantly, showing little fatigue, leaving fans wondering what might have happened if it went further.
