Altin Zenuni made a powerful first impression with his professional debut in Hamburg. The 20-year-old German-Albanian fighter from Düsseldorf celebrated a flawless start to his pro career, defeating experienced Slovak Tibor Balasz by first-round submission. He is a multiple-time national champion who represented his country at both the World and European Championships, gaining invaluable experience along the way.“My amateur career was crucial for my development,” he explains. “I learned how to handle pressure, analyze different fighting styles, and prepare mentally for any situation. That experience gave me composure and confidence to perform well on big stages like OKTAGON.”Outside of MMA, Zenuni studies civil engineering — balancing mental precision with physical endurance.“It’s definitely a challenge,” he admits, “but I’m someone who needs structure and discipline. I plan my days carefully and give 100% to both areas. Studying challenges my mind, training challenges my body — they actually complement each other perfectly. My motivation is to build a secure future while still following my dream as a fighter.”His roots also play a big role in shaping who he is. “My heritage means a lot to me. I’m proud of my Albanian roots and grateful to have grown up in Germany. This mix has made me stronger — discipline, pride, and perseverance are deeply ingrained in me. In the cage, I carry both sides within me.”Courage — the willingness to face one’s fears — is another value deeply aligned with OKTAGON’s philosophy.“Every fighter has their moment,” says Zenuni. “For me, it was right before my professional debut — the pressure was intense.
