The OKTAGON 93 tournament kept the judges busy in only four out of twelve fights. On September 12, Brno's Winning Group Arena witnessed a night full of shocking turnarounds and devastating finishes, and even the few fights that went to the scorecards brought two close split decisions. Take a look at how the Brno night unfolded through the scorecards.

RADEK ROUŠAL VS. JONAS MÅGÅRD

The heated main event of the Brno evening showed clear dominance by the Danish phenomenon. Jonas Mågård demonstrated immense ground strength, comfortably winning the first two rounds on all three judges' scorecards (20:18). The third round did not reach the scorecards. Mågård delivered another takedown, locked in a textbook guillotine choke, and forced the local striker to tap out at 0:35.

ANDREJ KALAŠNIK VS. KENNEDY RAYOMBA

The biggest underdog on the fight card delivered a massive upset that was reflected crystal clear on the scorecards. Although Andrej Kalašnik secured the first five minutes on all three judges' cards thanks to his pressure, the German warrior took control from the second round onwards. Kennedy Rayomba took the fight to the ground and dictated the pace until the end. All three judges scored the bout identically 29:28 for Rayomba, who takes home a valuable unanimous decision victory from Brno.

VLADIMÍR LENGÁL VS. MAURICE ADORF

Here, the judges had no time to write anything down. Brno patriot Vlado Lengál wasted no time in front of the roaring crowd, unleashed a devastating strike, and sent Maurice Adorf unconscious to the canvas. Clean scorecards and a lightning knockout at 3:02 of the first round.

JOSEF HÁLA VS. RADOVAN ÚŠKRT

A wild stand-up brawl under Stand and Bang rules promised a finish, and that is precisely what it delivered. The Slovak striker managed to win the opening round on two judges' cards with precise strikes. However, an illegal spinning attack interfered in the second round, resulting in a point deduction for Úškrt. But the scorecards were no longer needed. Hála targeted his strikes to the body, sent his shaken opponent to the canvas three times for knockdowns, and celebrated a TKO victory in the second round at 3:00.

DANIEL LIGOCKI VS. BRAJAN PRZYSIWEK

Home fighter Daniel Ligocki safely secured the first round on all three judges' cards thanks to higher accuracy in clinches and stand-up. In the second five minutes, he stepped on the gas, set a devastating pace, and sent his Polish opponent down with a clean knee. A spectacular KO at 3:06 marked an early end.

VOJTĚCH GARBA VS. ROBERT LAU

The light heavyweight battle started better for the "Silesian Knight", who secured the first round on all three judges' cards with a takedown and ground control. In the second round, however, the German finisher entered with a clear goal and quickly shocked the whole arena. After less than a minute, he unleashed a crushing strike that sent Garba down, earning a highly valuable KO victory.

JAKUB DOHNAL VS. VOJTO BARBORÍK

The anticipated clash of elite ground fighters surprisingly turned into an attractive stand-up exchange. Jakub Dohnal, who posed a dangerous threat in stand-up, took the opening round on two judges' scorecards. Then, in the 11th second of the second round, came the shocker. Dohnal's clean spinning head kick found its target, and a phenomenal KO left no room for doubt.

TOMÁŠ CIGÁNIK VS. BERKAN BADUR

One of two split decisions of the night and an extremely tense fight full of twists. The first round went to the German fighter on all three judges' scorecards. In the second round, the tables turned as the Slovak talent leveled the field and won the second five minutes on all cards. A key moment occurred near the end when Badur delivered an illegal knee and was penalized with a two-point deduction. That moment proved decisive. Two judges ultimately awarded the victory to Cigánik, while the third saw Badur winning by one point. A tight and immensely valuable victory goes to Slovakia.

ROBIN FOŠUM VS. DUSTIN RABIEGA

The opening round offered a great performance by the German debutant, who was faster and deservedly took the first round on two of the three scorecards. However, Fošum switched to a higher gear in the second round, bided his time, and finished the fight with a clean hook to the chin. A triumphant return after years sealed by a hard KO at 1:56.

ŠIMON BRUKNAR VS. NATHAN HAYWOOD

The clash of young talents had a clear ruler from the first second. Šimon Bruknar delivered a successful knockdown as well as ground work from dominant positions. All three judges scored his dominance identically across all three rounds, with one judge scoring the second round a decisive 10:8. A unanimous decision victory and his first win in yellow-black colors.

NIAMH KINEHAN VS. ALANA COOK

Undefeated British striker Niamh Kinehan lost the first five minutes on all three scorecards when her Canadian opponent pushed her against the cage. In the second round, however, Kinehan unleashed her game and after just 48 seconds connected with a precise left hook. A clear KO gave the judges no chance to fill out their scorecards.

ALI GÜNDÜZ VS. DÁVID DÁNIEL KOMÁR

The opening fight of the gala event set the bar very high and ended in the night's first close split decision. The judges disagreed right from the start. Two out of three judges gave the first round to Dávid Dániel Komár, who troubled his opponent with accurate kicks, while the third judge saw it for Ali Gündüz. The second round saw the same 2:1 split in favor of Komár. After two rounds, two judges had the fight tied at 19:19, while the third had Komár leading by two points. The final round was all the more crucial, which Ali Gündüz dominated unanimously thanks to ground control. That was enough for a close 29:28 victory on two scorecards, while the third judge scored it by the same margin for Komár. Gündüz thus celebrates a hard-fought split decision victory.
