What do you do professionally or personally beyond the sport?My first profession was as an electrician, and later I found my way to social work and recently completed a degree in that field. After discovering MMA, he also decided to dive into Greco-Roman wrestling, a discipline with a strong tradition in France.At the age of 16, Salamone made his professional MMA debut – and it’s worth mentioning that he finished his first opponent in the first round with a Rear Naked Choke. This happened in Belgium, as MMA was still illegal in France at the time. For this reason, Salamone leaned more toward traditional wrestling for several years.And he excelled – he became a national champion multiple times and even represented France on the national team. He describes his early career as constantly switching between wrestling and MMA. Wrestling remained a part of his journey for ten years.DID YOU KNOW?
