Plánoval jsi něco takového dopředu, nebo to bylo kouzlo okamžiku?</strong></p><p>Byl to úžasný pocit. Člověk trénuje a dře, a pak během pár sekund vyhraje, nezraní se a ještě si odnese bonus večera. To je snad ten nejlepší scénář, co se může stát.</p><p>S trenérem jsme pracovali hlavně na postoji, takže jsme měli radost, že se to takhle povedlo. Chtěli jsme buď blokovat jeho kop, protože jsme viděli, že v předchozích zápasech měl ruce dole, nebo jít hákem. No a to se vyloženě povedlo, byla to nacvičená věc. Nečekal jsem sice, že to vyjde hned v první kombinaci, ale jak se říká – připraveným štěstí přeje.</p><p><strong>Jak se připravuješ na zápas proti Palaiologosovi? Jsou v přípravě nějaké změny?</strong></p><p>V této přípravě jsem se ještě víc zaměřil na svůj postoj a rozvíjel ho, protože to byla moje slabší stránka. Teď už se v něm cítím jistější a víc mě baví. Začal jsem taky pracovat s novými trenéry na fyzičce a síle.</p><p><strong>Jak svého soupeře vnímáš a co od něj očekáváš?</strong></p><p>Snažím se teď připravit co nejlépe, zprofesionalizovat se a pracovat na více aspektech. Palaiologos je dobrý zápasník, kvalitní soupeř. Mám ale pocit, že jeho výkon hodně záleží na tom, jak se vyspí. Někdy vyhraje zápas, který od něj nikdo nečeká, a jindy prohraje tam, kde by měl vyhrát. Je dost nevyzpytatelný, takže se na něj připravujeme, jak nejlépe umíme, ale soustředím se hlavně na sebe.</p><p><strong>Těšíš se na turnaj v Brně? Je to spíš tlak, nebo motivace zápasit před domácím publikem?</strong></p><p>Je to tlak a odpovědnost, ale zároveň obrovská motivace. Jsem rád, že OKTAGON přichází do Brna a můžu zápasit před domácím publikem. Když jsem zápasil v Rondu, atmosféra byla brutální. Tentokrát to bude ještě lepší. Možná se na ten zápas těším víc než na jiné, právě proto, že je to doma.</p><p><strong>Co tě vedlo k natáčení videí na YouTube?</strong></p><p>Natáčení videí na YouTube je jeden z mých koníčků, už dlouho jsem to měl v plánu. V MMA nestačí jen podávat sportovní výkony, člověk se musí i propagovat. Spousta borců to dělá přes trash talk, ale to mě nebaví. Já takový nejsem. Když jsme s kamarády přemýšleli, jak se lépe propagovat, řekli mi, že bych měl být víc sám sebou a dělat si srandu. Možná jsem to dřív neukazoval na sociálních sítích, ale vždycky jsem byl spíš třídní šašek, dělal si legraci ze sebe i ostatních. A tak mě napadlo natáčet videa. Chci ukázat, že zápasníci nejsou jen testosteronoví borci nebo agresoři, jak si často lidé myslí, ale že si umíme udělat srandu i sami ze sebe.</p><p><strong>Kolik času tomu věnuješ?</strong></p><p>Nedávám tomu extra čas, většinou to dělám po tréninku ve volných chvílích. Není to moje hlavní činnost, nechci být velký youtuber, ale baví mě to. Je to příjemný doplněk po tréninku.</p><p><strong>Bereš to i jako další finanční příjem?</strong></p><p>Zatím mi to nic nepřináší, neživí mě to, ale uvidíme, jak se to vyvine.</p><p><strong>Jak vnímáš svou rostoucí popularitu mezi fanoušky? Poznávají tě lidé na ulici?</strong></p><p>Baví mě, když si mě lidi všímají, podají mi ruku nebo mě požádají o fotku. Je to v takové míře, že to ještě není otravné, jako třeba u Attily nebo Karla, kteří nemůžou ani projít po ulici. Je fajn, když lidé ocení, že podáváš dobré výkony a snažíš se vyhrávat zápasy. Ale zároveň je to velká zodpovědnost a tlak.</p><p><strong>Jak to myslíš?</strong></p><p>Nemůžu se chovat jako idiot a někde venku se prát. Musím se chovat sportovně, protože mě sledují nejen fanoušci, ale i děti. Musím dávat pozitivní příklad. Vím, že můj životní styl není vždy ten nejlepší vzor, ale snažím se být lepší, hlavně teď, když mám syna. Chci něco předat další generaci zápasníků.</p><p><strong>Jaké máš plány po tomto zápase? Už si brousíš zuby na nějaké další jméno?</strong></p><p>Mám jedno jméno, ale zatím ho nechci zveřejňovat. Teď se soustředím na Palaiologose.</p><p><strong>A jak vidíš zbytek karty?</strong></p><p>Tahle karta je skvělá, je plná zajímavých zápasů. Jedna z nejlepších na československé scéně. Těším se na zápas Keity a Legierskeho, to bude šílená bitva. Taky se těším na svého sparing partnera Honzu Stanovského a na Vlada Lengála, který bude mít těžkého soupeře. Zajímá mě taky Rony Paradeiser a návrat Muradova. Těším se taky na Sanikidzeho, což je můj kamarád. Je tam asi 5 až 7 zápasů, na které bych se rád podíval, ale budu sám zápasit, takže si to pak určitě pustím.</p><p><strong>Co bys chtěl vzkázat svým fanouškům před Brnem?</strong></p><p>Myslím, že to bude skvělý turnaj. Despite that, Fleury clearly took the first round. In the second round, Fleury showed Todev what a takedown means in OKTAGON for the first time. The second round was evenly matched, but Fleury turned the tide again in the third, demolishing the Bulgarian giant, and maintained that dominance into the penultimate five minutes. The fifth round reached an insane pace — Todev landed blows that would have finished most fighters, but Fleury endured and survived the impossible. He refused to go down — and it paid off. A new, and now two-time champion is here, with Will "F*cking" Fleury raising the belt again just three months later!</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1123"></oktfightcomponent><h2>OMER VS. KOPERA</h2><p>An amazing comeback by Alan Omer. After battling a serious illness, he returned after five years — and won! However, Kopera was no easy opponent. The first two rounds clearly belonged to Alan, who dominated both standing and on the ground. The first round even saw a historic moment — for the first time in OKTAGON history, a broken mouthguard had to be replaced live during the broadcast. Omer handled it and carried on. Kopera fought back hard in the final round and momentarily became the king of the cage, but it wasn’t enough. Alan Omer claimed a clear victory by decision!</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1101"></oktfightcomponent><h2>MURADOV VS. ENOMOTO</h2><p>The first round was clearly Muradov’s — he hammered Enomoto with a relentless assault, though the Swiss samurai held up surprisingly well. The crowd may have expected Muradov to secure a points victory, but he quickly proved them wrong early in the second round! A brutal straight right, a flying knee, and a flurry of strikes on the ground sent Enomoto into darkness. A fantastic finish — and Muradov got exactly what he wanted: no injuries and a huge showdown with Patrik Kincl at Eden coming up!</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1124"></oktfightcomponent><h2>TIPSPORT PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT: BARTL VS. SCHWINDT</h2><p>This one was heart-stopping! Schwindt dominated the first round — the judges were unanimous. But what happened in the second round was total warfare. Schwindt came out swinging with brutal strikes, but Bartl quickly turned the tables and took Schwindt down. Both fighters absorbed massive damage, and the ground battle was a desperate fight for survival. Bartl briefly took control, but the advantage kept shifting until Schwindt regained dominance. He tortured Bartl on the ground, and just when the referee was ready to step in, Bartl always managed to hang on. Bartl’s heroic effort finally ended at 4:41 of the second round when Schwindt managed to finish him. A match to remember and an amazing performance from both fighters, crowned with a bonus for the winner for the best performance of the evening.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1156"></oktfightcomponent><h2>AYARI VS. STAHL</h2><p>The first main card fight delivered a hard-fought three-round battle. Stahl had a tough time in the opening round, absorbing heavy strikes from Ayari. The rest of the fight followed a similar pattern. In the second round, Stahl tried to take the fight to the ground, but Ayari defended well and forced the fight back to standing. Ayari seemed poised for victory and sealed the deal in the final round. As the fight drew to a close, Ayari countered an attack from Stahl and delivered a devastating KO — the first of the night. Stahl went down, and Ayari secured a well-deserved win.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1143"></oktfightcomponent><h2>FRANK VS. FRIMPONG</h2><p>A rough night for Frank! Frimpong delivered on all his trash talk and backed it up in the cage. He outworked Frank, never letting him breathe — even talking to him mid-fight. He swept all three rounds! By the second round, Frank looked defeated, and the third round was the icing on the cake. SILVA</h2><p>A fight that was undecided until the final moments! The first round had an unusual start when Roman Paulus pointed out an illegal move and took a long pause to recover. After the break, the round remained evenly matched. In the second round, Paulus dominated as Silva struggled to respond — the round clearly went to the Slovak fighter. But the final round decided it all — Paulus seemed to lose steam or interest. Silva upped his activity, landing more strikes as Paulus faded. The fight remained close until the very end, but Silva celebrated confidently after the final bell — and rightly so. The 11-year-older Brazilian won by split decision.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1148"></oktfightcomponent><h2>BATFALSKÝ VS. BATOBO</h2><p>A proud moment for Czech fans! Both fighters came out fast, with Batobo quickly looking to take Batfalský to the ground. But Batfalský defended well and even held his own from the bottom. Batobo was quick with body shots and dominated the exchanges. But in the second round, Batfalský found a weakness — Batobo’s leg. After targeting it, Batobo became slower and visibly tired, while Batfalský stayed sharp and calm. Batobo’s leg eventually gave out, forcing him to retire. LORENZ</h2><p>We have a rising star! Two wins in two weeks — both in the first round — that’s Daniel Ligocki. He stepped up shortly after his victory in Třinec and dominated again. Lorenz managed to land some shots early on, but Ligocki responded with a clean right hook that briefly shut Lorenz down. Ligocki then finished him off on the ground with a fast submission.
