Kde se tenhle neobyčejný zápasník vlastně vzal?&nbsp;<h2>ATLETICKÝ TALENT, DRSNÉ DĚTSTVÍ A DIVOKÉ DOSPÍVÁNÍ</h2>Jako malý vyrůstal v nevelkém irském městečku, kde panoval klid a katolické tradice. Asi je ti jasné, že právě tam to jako dítě afrického otce a jugoslávské matky neměl zrovna jednoduché. Jako míšenec nikdy nezapadal do žádné komunity a dlouho se pral s pocitem, že nepatří nikam. Přísná výchova otce, který ho učil být za každou cenu tvrdý a umět se bránit, má určitě co dočinění s jeho zálibou v MMA. Denis vyrůstal jako bouřlivák a rváč, ukázalo se ale, že má velký talent na atletiku, která mu zajistila i stipendium na univerzitě. Nakonec tenhle svůj talent opustil a přes krušné chvíle dospívání, divoké party a ne zrovna klidné chování dospěl až na podložku v tělocvičně, kde se učilo jiu-jitsu. Od té chvíle se Frimpong zamiloval do světa bojových sportů, které objevil.&nbsp;<h2>MILOVANÁ I NENÁVIDĚNÁ HVĚZDA OKTAGON CHALLENGE&nbsp;</h2>Do světa profesionálního MMA začal nakukovat, když se přihlásil do britsko-irské OKTAGON Challenge. Tam bojoval pod vedením Paddyho Holohana a svého blízkého kamaráda Shem Rocka (asi tě zrovna nepřekvapí, že si tihle dva rozumí).&nbsp;Udivoval nejen nepřehlédnutelnou povahou, která se ve vile projevovala, ale i vynikajícími výkony. Třeba jeho head kick, kterým zasadil KO svému velkému nepříteli Gelezimu, označil Ondřej Novotný za jeden z nejlepších, který vůbec kdy viděl. I v semifinále se zapsal na listinu top výkonů, když tvrdě vybojoval vítězství na body v napínavém zápase s Gavinem. Pak ale přišlo finále a tvrdý dopad na zem – rozjetého Frimponga utišil nenápadný finalista Staines. Pokora vyhrála nad nevybíravým trash talkem. That took his OKTAGON record to 4-1.Then his career turned into a rollercoaster. Losses to Lohoré, Krištofič and Khajevand alternated with wins over Koné and Chadwick. After February 2022, every one of his OKTAGON fights took place abroad. “Germany didn’t suit me in any way,” he said in 2023. He went back anyway, and in May 2025 in Munich he outpointed home fighter Harun Uzun despite stepping into the cage with a fever. It was his light heavyweight debut and his second straight OKTAGON win. "Today I meet Germans on the street and they tell me: you make us happy, you bring honor to our country," he adds proudly.<h2>THE LONG ROAD TO THE PROFESSIONAL CAGE</h2>Before he first encountered MMA, Dulatov went through a solid school of combat sports. He started with boxing, competing in over fifteen amateur bouts. Gradually, he added kickboxing. After years in the ring, he transitioned to MMA, and his very first amateur fight indicated that he possessed more than just heavy hands. In September 2018 at Integra FC 10, he defeated Jan Roth by choke in the second round, showing that despite his striking roots, he knew how to finish a fight on the ground. He turned professional five years later, in October 2023, when at Sparta CF 3 he knocked down Dimitrije Ninić via TKO in the first round. His three brothers, Djibril, Sulumbek, and Islam (who now fights in the UFC), share the same passion.<h2>IN OKTAGON HE DOES NOT KNOW SECOND ROUNDS</h2>Under the yellow-and-black flag, Dulatov fully confirmed that he is among the organization's most dangerous finishers. His record speaks clearly. Five professional fights, five wins, all before the distance, and he has never seen a second round.
