Dělám to, co mě baví a co mi dává smysl. Naštěstí k tomu nepotřebuju žádné povolení – jsem dospělá a rozhoduju se sama za sebe. Bojová umění jsou mou vášní a věnuju se jim tak, aby mi to přinášelo radost.</p><p><strong>Věnovala ses před MMA i jiným sportům?</strong></p><p>V mládí jsem se lyžovala a jako doplněk jsem dělala atletiku. Moji rodiče jsou velcí sportovci – máma bývala lyžařka a dokonce závodila na Zimních olympijských hrách v roce 1964! Sport pro mě byl vždycky školou života a pomohl mi v každé situaci. Jsem soutěživá a miluju výzvy, ve kterých si můžu poměřit síly s ostatními.</p><p><strong>Co tě přivedlo právě k MMA, proč tenhle sport?</strong></p><p>MMA mě uchvátilo svou všestranností – vyžaduje fyzickou i mentální sílu. A navíc je vtipné, jak si lidi často myslí, že se umí bránit nebo že „vidí rudě“, když se dostanou do konfliktu. Když člověk trénuje bojové sporty, je tohle vtipná představa.</p><p><strong>Jaké byly tvoje pocity, když jsi poprvé vkročila do tělocvičny a začala se učit MMA?</strong></p><p>Od začátku mě to bavilo. Ale dodnes mě frustruje, když se mi některé věci nedaří naučit tak, jak bych chtěla. Miluju však posouvat své fyzické i mentální hranice.</p><p><strong>Jak vypadá tvůj život mimo MMA? Čemu se věnuješ profesně nebo ve volném čase?</strong></p><p>Původně jsem pracovala jako elektrikářka, ale později jsem se dostala do sociální práce a nedávno jsem v tomto oboru dokončila vzdělání. Pracuju s teenagery a mladými dospělými. Jsem taky máma tří dospělých dětí, samoživitelka a hrdá hospodyňka! Ráda vařím, peču a pletu.</p><p><strong>Jak reagovalo tvoje okolí, když ses rozhodla pro MMA? Podpořilo tě?</strong></p><p>Popravdě netuším, protože reakce okolí mě nezajímají. Dělám si, co chci – to je výhoda dospělosti. Moje děti mě podporují bezvýhradně, stejně jako já podporuju je. To samé platí i pro moje rodiče. Občas mi ale chybí pocit, že patřím mezi ten „vnitřní kruh” ostatních sportovců, zejména kvůli věku a pohlaví.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1122"></oktfightcomponent><p><strong>Pochybovala jsi někdy během své cesty? Co ti dodalo sílu pokračovat?</strong></p><p>Ano, byly těžké chvíle, hlavně při zraněních nebo porážkách. Ale naučila jsem se, že každá prohra je lekcí. Největší oporou je mi rodina a moje vlastní odhodlání. Navíc se otázka, jestli pokračovat, vlastně nikdy neobjevila – MMA je součástí mého života stejně jako moje práce.</p><p><strong>Jak se připravuješ na svůj debut v OKTAGONu? Co pro tebe tahle příležitost znamená?</strong></p><p>Trénuju každý den, tak, jak jsem zvyklá, a zvládám všechny výzvy, které s tím souvisí. Kvůli práci si ale nemůžu dovolit třeba tréninkový kemp třeba v Thajsku, tohle u mě není možné.</p><p><strong>Co si myslíš o své soupeřce? Vidíš věkový rozdíl jako výzvu nebo motivaci?</strong></p><p>Už jsem zápasila s velmi kvalitními soupeřkami, takže se tím příliš nezabývám. Vím, že ženy v mé kategorii jsou nesmírně talentované, silné a schopné. Tento zápas nebude výjimkou. Soustředím se hlavně na sebe a na své možnosti. Věkový rozdíl pro mě není nic nového ani neobvyklého.</p><p><strong>Jaké aspekty podle tebe ženy přinášejí do MMA?</strong></p><p>Obrovskou emocionální sílu a strategické myšlení. Je inspirativní sledovat, jak neustále posouváme dynamiku a techniku tohoto sportu.</p><p><strong>A myslíš si, že ženy-zápasnice mají dostatečné uznání?</strong></p><p>Ženské MMA ušlo obrovský kus cesty, ale pořád je tu rozhodně velký potenciál pro další rozvoj.</p><p><strong>Máš nějaké vzory nebo osobnosti, které tě během tvé cesty inspirovaly?</strong></p><p>Stephanie Egger, první švýcarská bojovnice v UFC. Miluju její styl a osobnost. Mám vícero oblíbených zápasnic, ale seznam by byl moc dlouhý a asi nudný. A něco pro nadšence: "Who’s gonna carry the boats, and the logs?!"</p><p><strong>Jaké největší výzvy podle tebe ženy v MMA čelí – ať už v tréninku, soutěžích nebo mimo sport?</strong></p><p>Jednou z největších výzev je přijetí. Ženy musí často dokazovat dvakrát tolik, aby byly brány vážně. Přesto se nám to daří překonávat.</p><p><strong>Jaký vzkaz bys chtěla předat lidem, kteří váhají udělat první krok k tomu, co je baví, ať už ve sportu nebo v životě?</strong></p><p>Jdi do toho! Nikdy není pozdě začít něco nového. Nejtěžší je začátek, ale pak se ti otevře svět plný možností.</p><p><strong>Když se ohlédneš zpět, co tě na tvé cestě nejvíc překvapilo nebo potěšilo?</strong></p><p>Možnost zápasit v OKTAGONU! Jungwirth relied on his biggest weapon — relentless pressure. Stolze seemed to slowly fade and lose the will to withstand Jungwirth’s nonstop aggression. In the fourth round, he was forced into a deep defensive shell, and “The Kelt” overwhelmed him with combinations. Just before the end of the round, the referee had seen enough and stopped the fight. Jungwirth wins by TKO — and his dream of a rematch with Eckerlin is alive once again.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1270"></oktfightcomponent><h2>ALEXANDER POPPECK vs. DAVID HOŠEK</h2><p>We were just inches away from the biggest upset of the night. In the opening seconds, Hošek dropped Poppeck with a powerful high kick. But the German Viking recovered quickly and then took over. Using his size and weight advantage, he controlled Hošek on the ground, hammering him with heavy strikes and finishing the fight by TKO in the second round.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1290"></oktfightcomponent><h2>RONALD PARADEISER vs. GERALDO NETO</h2><p>A dominant performance from Rony Paradeiser — even despite an unpleasant injury. He tried to tie Paradeiser up and limit his movement, but the Slovak fighter handled the clinch just as well. In the second round, Paradeiser landed a hard elbow and followed with strikes on the ground until the referee stepped in. Gökhan Aksu won by TKO in the first round! This heated matchup delivered exactly what everyone expected — a back-and-forth war where neither man gave an inch. Frimpong started well and even stunned Aksu, but then got caught by a heavy cross and uppercut that rocked him badly. Aksu swarmed him and finished the fight brutally. A fantastic bout from both fighters! Aksu moves significantly closer to a future title shot.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1305"></oktfightcomponent><h2>HAFENI NAFUKA vs. MATOUŠ KOHOUT</h2><p>A tense fight that went all the way to the judges’ scorecards. Hafeni Nafuka came in with a clear strategy — take the fight to the ground and dominate there. Kohout, on the other hand, aimed to keep it standing and in the clinch, where he threatened with hard elbows. It was a true back-and-forth fight. Kohout repeatedly managed to stand up and avoided dangerous traps, but he struggled to fully impose his game. Entering the final round, the score was tied 1–1. In the last five minutes, “Mighty Rooster” was the better man and earned a tough, well-deserved victory. Credit to Nafuka for taking the fight on short notice and delivering a solid performance.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1324"></oktfightcomponent><h2>MÁTÉ KERTÉSZ vs. FELIX KLINKHAMMER</h2><p>A surgical performance from the undefeated Felix Klinkhammer, who won by submission at the end of the first round. The fight stayed standing only briefly — once on the ground, Felix was clearly superior. He first attempted to take Kertész’s back for an RNC, but then transitioned and caught his leg in a knee bar. The Hungarian fighter tapped quickly. Klinkhammer secures his eighth career submission and improves to 11–0. What parallels do you see between programming and combat sports?</strong></p><p>These are two passions that operate in completely different domains yet share one key commonality: both involve continuous learning. You solve problems and grow your abilities along the way.</p><p><strong>Does your technical way of thinking help you “read” opponents like Legierski and recognize strategic patterns?</strong></p><p>Definitely. Analytical thinking is always helpful when identifying patterns and tendencies. But you still need to translate those insights into practice and integrate them consistently into training. That requires a lot of hard work.</p><p><strong>How do you structure your daily routine during the intense phase of a title-fight camp – and what are the biggest challenges?</strong></p><p>The biggest challenge is the dieting phase. My inner foodie and the strict requirements of my weight class are constantly negotiating with each other – and the scale usually has the final say.</p><p><strong>You are a Berliner but compete internationally for Turkey. What does this dual identity mean to you – especially ahead of a title fight?</strong></p><p>Berlin taught me everything I needed technically and mentally as a fighter, such as discipline and persistence. But the passion and fire – that comes from my Turkish soul. When I represent Turkey, I represent the belief that with hard work and the right mindset, anything is possible, no matter where you come from. It motivates me deeply when I hear that someone was inspired to start training because of my fights. That thought gives my performances a much deeper meaning.</p><p><strong>Many athletes appear at media events in training gear. You, however, often show up very elegantly – in suits, well groomed, recently even with a distinctive pair of sunglasses. What does fashion mean to you, and what do you want to express with this stylish presence?</strong></p><p>I rarely have opportunities to dress up, since I spend most of my time at the gym. So I like to use any excuse to present myself elegantly. I enjoy showing my best self and embodying a certain level of professionalism.</p><p><strong>OKTAGON will come to Berlin for the first time in June 2026. What would it mean to you personally to walk into your hometown as a potential titleholder?</strong></p><p>That would be an incredibly motivating spectacle. There are too many variables involved in successfully applying a technique. In the end, I have to be able to look myself in the eyes.
