After her second UFC stint, Pudilova returned home and convincingly handled a tough test against Cecilie Bolander at OKTAGON 61. The tension grew every single day. But just days before Christmas came a blow that no one expected.Szabova was taken down by the flu. "I am very sorry that I had to cancel the fight. Unfortunately, I caught the flu this week, with high fevers and chills. My body is exhausted, my head is splitting. I tried everything possible, antibiotics, IV vitamin C," the champion wrote on social media, attaching a photo of a thermometer showing 39.5 degrees Celsius.For Pudilova, it was even more cruel, as this entire period was one of the hardest of her life. Shortly before, she tragically lost her younger brother in a car accident. Despite everything, she still stepped into the cage, just against a different opponent. Instead of the dream matchup with Szabova, she faced replacement Cecilie Bolander, and in an evenly matched five-round war, Pudilova lost on points.
