Hvězdné výkony neustaly ani po velkolepém nástupu doprovázeném rapovou hvězdou – Eckerlin bodoval dál, a to i na scorecards. Jedno kolo za druhým měl nad Jungwirthem navrch, i když ho několikrát musel rozhodčí zastavit a připomenout pravidla hry. Král Stuttgartu ztrácel čím dál víc, podléhal tvrdým úderům i tlaku na zemi. Když ani v posledním kole nepřišel s žádným překvapením, bylo jasno. Jungwirth bojoval jako vždy celým srdcem, na nový pás OKTAGONU to ale nestačilo. Čeští diváci tak zažili, jaké to je, když se na jinak oblíbeného šampiona Kincla píská ve velkém. Kerima hnali fanoušci dál a dál, zatímco sebemenší zaváhání českého reprezentanta nenechali bez povšimnutí. Zápas si diváci užili všech dlouhých pět kol. Oba pánové byli velmi opatrní, ale Engizek měl odvahy o něco více. A vyplatilo se – jedno kolo za druhým dokázal Kincla číst lépe a lépe. Až ve čtvrtém probleskla pro šampiona naděje, ale byl to opravdu jen záblesk. I bodoví měli od začátku jasno, jen sem tam šlo kolo nerozhodně. A tak, k nadšení diváků v hale a nevěřícným výrazům Kinclových fanoušků, nejdéle kralující současný šampion byl sesazen z trůnu. RAČIĆ</h2><p>Zápas Maxe Cogy sice nebyl titulový, ale pro publikum byl více než speciální – příchod domácí superstar do OKTAGONU byl dle očekávání hvězdný. V kleci pak pánové nasadili brutální tempo – a zatímco v prvním kole se Račić ještě dostal k akci, ve druhém už si neškrtl. Brutální KO, které soupeři Coga zasadil, způsobilo davové šílenství. Hala na nohou a řev, který byl slyšet snad až za hranice státu. Sen pro Cogu i šedesát tisíc fanoušků v hale.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="952"></oktfightcomponent><h2>SAMSONIDSE VS. TORRES</h2><p>Niko Samsonidse sliboval, že se po desetiměsíční léčbě zranění vrací silnější a lepší. A nebyly to plané sliby. Němec byl po výhře skutečně lačný a z boje byl jeho hlad po výhře cítit snad až v posledním patře obrovského stadionu. PAŁASZ</h2><p>Těžké váhy předvedly show, kterou tihle obři umí. První kolo nepřineslo větší drama a bodoví byli na straně Pałasze. Ale ve druhém se hra otočila. Todev zabral a vzápětí údery zničil soupeře, který se postupně hroutil k zemi, až se zhroutil úplně. TRABELSI</h2><p>Max Holzer si ještě před začátkem zápasu odnesl titul Miláček publika, když ve svém typickém vtipném stylu přijel do klece na koloběžce. A dav se rozhodl bojovat po jeho boku i nadále. Hlasitým skandováním ho hnal od prvního kola a Holzer doručoval naprostou dominanci. Nejdříve údery, potom zem, všude Trabelsiho drtil a tempo se jen stupňovalo. A vyplatilo se nepolevit. Jen chvíli před koncem zápasu se mu podařilo dobít soupeře na zemi a výhra na TKO byla doma! MARTIN</h2><p>Překvapení večera? Pro plný stadion rozhodně rozčarování roku… Mallory Martin nastoupila do klece jako úplně jiná zápasnice, než jakou Dalisda potkala v kleci poprvé. Od první chvíle nevěřícnou šampionku drtila a desítkám tisíců diváků se tak tajil dech víc a víc. První tři kola šla na stranu Martin, což Dalisdu nepochybně dost znejistilo. A tak to s ní měla Martin lehčí a lehčí. Nemusela nikam spěchat, krásně šampionku rozebrala a stadion zkoprněl. Nechtěli bychom být v kůži Johna Newmana, který přišel diváky přešlé mrazem rozveselit. HENDIN</h2><p>Zápas, který musel ocenit snad každý fanoušek skvělého MMA. Oba zápasníci nasadili vysokou úroveň a my jsme se tak mohli jen kochat výměnami, ukázkovým wrestlingem a technickou prací obou soupeřů. Jak řekl Karlos, tihle dva se i v ne zrovna teplém počasí na stadionu pořádně zapotili. První kolo bylo ještě dost vyrovnané, v dalších ale jasně dominoval Machaev a odnesl si tak jednomyslnou výhru na body.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1023"></oktfightcomponent><h2>LANGER VS. FLEURY</h2><p>Zazvonil konec a pohádky je konec. Zlomená srdce mají všichni fanoušci osobitého Langera, který tornádo jménem Fleury nepřežil. Po minutě a půl zasadil drzý Ir tvrdé KO a Langer šel k zemi. Je už naprosto jasné, že polotěžká váha má nového žraloka ve svých vodách. TOPALLAJ</h2><p>I tady publikum ukázalo, že dneska večer si to užije na 100% a nebojí se dát najevo hlasitě nejen podporu, ale i nespokojenost. S tou se setkal Hafeni Nafuka, který v souboji sice dominoval, ale jeho cesta vedla přes nepříliš dynamický souboj na zemi a úderů padlo jen málo. Topallaje prohra na body zdrtila, ale ani Nafuka neprojevil velkou euforii. Mentally, he comes across like a typical athlete: very stoic, respectful, and sportsmanlike.</p><p><strong>Where do you see the keys to victory against a former OKTAGON champion?</strong></p><p>The most important elements in this fight will be patience, aggression, and creativity.</p><p><strong>What distinguishes a title fight from a regular bout for you – and how does it influence your preparation?</strong></p><p>Unlike the usual three rounds, a title fight goes for five, which creates an additional conditioning challenge. There is also no 500-gram weight allowance. Preparation therefore puts even greater emphasis on endurance and weight management.</p><p><strong>You work full-time as a software developer. What parallels do you see between programming and combat sports?</strong></p><p>These are two passions that operate in completely different domains yet share one key commonality: both involve continuous learning. You solve problems and grow your abilities along the way.</p><p><strong>Does your technical way of thinking help you “read” opponents like Legierski and recognize strategic patterns?</strong></p><p>Definitely. Analytical thinking is always helpful when identifying patterns and tendencies. But you still need to translate those insights into practice and integrate them consistently into training. That requires a lot of hard work.</p><p><strong>How do you structure your daily routine during the intense phase of a title-fight camp – and what are the biggest challenges?</strong></p><p>The biggest challenge is the dieting phase. My inner foodie and the strict requirements of my weight class are constantly negotiating with each other – and the scale usually has the final say.</p><p><strong>You are a Berliner but compete internationally for Turkey. What does this dual identity mean to you – especially ahead of a title fight?</strong></p><p>Berlin taught me everything I needed technically and mentally as a fighter, such as discipline and persistence. But the passion and fire – that comes from my Turkish soul. When I represent Turkey, I represent the belief that with hard work and the right mindset, anything is possible, no matter where you come from. It motivates me deeply when I hear that someone was inspired to start training because of my fights. That thought gives my performances a much deeper meaning.</p><p><strong>Many athletes appear at media events in training gear. You, however, often show up very elegantly – in suits, well groomed, recently even with a distinctive pair of sunglasses. What does fashion mean to you, and what do you want to express with this stylish presence?</strong></p><p>I rarely have opportunities to dress up, since I spend most of my time at the gym. So I like to use any excuse to present myself elegantly. I enjoy showing my best self and embodying a certain level of professionalism.</p><p><strong>OKTAGON will come to Berlin for the first time in June 2026. What would it mean to you personally to walk into your hometown as a potential titleholder?</strong></p><p>That would be an incredibly motivating spectacle. All my fans in Berlin would get the chance to witness my performance live. The whole city would shake – I’m certain of that.</p><p><strong>You speak of “training systems.” What sets this approach apart from classic technique training?</strong></p><p>Technique training is only one piece of the puzzle. There are too many variables involved in successfully applying a technique. Understanding and repeating a technique is one thing; having the body truly internalize and execute it is another.</p><p><strong>This includes distance management, timing, and the right reflexes.</strong></p><p>If you structure your training correctly, you can apply techniques effectively under physical resistance, regardless of your natural movement talent.</p><p><strong>Is there a personal maxim that carries you through tough camps, setbacks, and successes?</strong></p><p>I don’t have a specific motto. In the end, I have to be able to look myself in the eyes. If I’ve done everything in my power, that fact alone carries me through both the good times and the bad.</p><p><strong>What does “success” mean to you at its core – the title itself or the path toward it?</strong></p><p>Success is a mindset. Everything leading toward it is the sum of the decisions you make day in and day out.
