První kolo šlo na stranu Eckerlina, ale jak víme, to Brožovi často sedí. Tentokrát ale ne – Eckerlinova přední postupně chirurgicky ničila Brožův obličej. Brož i tak Eckerlina dál hrdě vybízel k tvrdé akci. Frankfurtský král ho poslal až na zem, kde Brože ukončil v čase 4:49 druhého kola. My jsme dobře věděli, že Sardari, stejně jako všichni účastníci milionové pyramidy, je na vysoké úrovni. Keita převzal vedení v prvních dvou kolech, ve 3. kole se ale zvýšil tep všem zúčastněným. Keita inkasoval tvrdou sérii a zavrávoval, následně si ho Sardari připravil na škrcení a chybělo málo. A pak znovu. Asi nejdelší dvě minuty v životě obou protivníků zakončily série vzájemně uštědřených tvrdých ran, kdy nebylo jisté vůbec nic. Bylo to těsné, ale Keita nakonec svou výhru 2:1 na body ustál. Ale takhle jsme ho ještě neviděli! Nebo spíš zombie drama? Langer otevřel zápas pěkným kopem, po něm ale následovala šílená smršť boxu od Doussise. Palo začal vypadat, že toho má tak trochu dost, ale nadále odolával gravitaci. Doussis ale nepřestával a do Langera šil tvrdě dál. Najednou ale přišlo Langerovo typické zmrtvýchvstání, které už německým divákům předvedl několikrát. V čase 4:06 stačilo jedno vynikající koleno a Doussis šel k zemi, kde ho Langer ukončil definitivně. Nechybělo ale vzdání úcty soupeři, legrační rozhovor a dokonce byl i oslavný taneček! Od začátku fyzicky extrémně náročný zápas, který se rozjel tak šíleně, že ho šlo obtížně i komentovat. A Siwiec dal Glismannovi pořádně zabrat. Další kolo bylo vyrovnané a 3. kolo vše rozseklo – Glismann už jasně dominoval a polský soupeř byl vyčerpaný. Pánové předvedli úplnou učebnici všemožných technik a kliček jako na kurzu grapplingu. Kurhela? Velký respekt a vynikající výkon. A Holzer? How do you cope with it physically and mentally?I am constantly in training mode. I really train all the time. I only focus on MMA, and it is my life. I don't do anything else. I think I handle it very well physically. I do various conditioning and mental exercises. Fighting is 80% mental.You train at Octagon Team Cieszyn across the border in Poland and at the same time do BJJ at Draculino gym in Frýdek-Místek. What does your typical training week look like?I prepare for fights at Octagon Team Cieszyn under coach Michał Mankiewicz. I spend almost the whole week there. We mainly focus on sparring, grappling, wrestling, and ground drills. I also train in Sviadnov at the KO 23 gym under Peter Šlahor. There, we mainly work on striking, pads, strength, and also the mental side. My training week usually consists of sparring on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I usually do either striking or ground work, and in the mornings, either sprints or regular running. My weekends are for resting. I usually go to a wellness center or spend time in nature, mainly to clear my head.Your training partner Tomáš Mudroch will also fight on the Liberec card against Josef Hála. How do you see this matchup? Is Tomáš in good shape?I met Tomáš a few months ago. I can't say what shape he is in right now, but he has always been perfectly prepared for his fights.
