Když jsem neměl plánovaný zápas a bylo méně příležitostí k tréninku, věnoval jsem se technice a taktice. Také bylo více volného času, který jsem trávil s rodinou a kamarády.</p><p><strong>Měl jsi dva titulové zápasy již ve 23 letech, což je obrovský úspěch. Co sis z nich odnesl?</strong></p><p>Cenné zkušenosti a zážitky. Už jsem si vyzkoušel 5x5 a hlavní zápas večera – přestože výsledek nedopadl tak, jak jsem chtěl, určitě mě to posunulo.</p><p><strong>Teď přecházíš do nové váhy, do lehké divize. Co tě k rozhodnutí vedlo?</strong></p><p>Důvodem byl velký odpor ke shazování, ochrana zdraví a lepší výkon. Zranění mi ukázalo, že zdraví je jen jedno. Tělo si během léčby užilo své a nechci ho ničit dalším shazováním. Tím neříkám, že bych do featherweight už nikdy nešel, ale určitě chci teď pokračovat v lehké divizi, protože vím, že na to mám a věřím, že bez drastického hubnutí předvedu i daleko lepší výkony. A také chci zápasit častěji, což při velkých redukcích váhy nejde.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1017"></oktfightcomponent><p><strong>Jak hodnotíš svého soupeře? Predikuješ nějak průběh zápasu?</strong></p><p>Soupeř je mladý a šikovný zápasník. Přestože nemá tolik profi zkušeností, má mnoho amatérských zápasů a účastnil se OKTAGON Challenge, kde jsou profesionální pravidla, jen se to nezapisuje do statistik. Konkrétní predikci nemám – jdu tam vyhrát a ideálně soupeře ukončit před limitem.</p><p><strong>Jak vnímáš tlak spojený s tímto zápasem? Co pro tebe znamená vrátit se do klece po tak dlouhé době?</strong></p><p>Velmi si to po tak dlouhé době užívám. Mám z toho radost, hodně se těším. Nervózní nejsem, mám velký hlad po vítězství a jsem rád, že se můžu znovu představit na české půdě.</p><p><strong>Zranění je něco, s čím se musí každý sportovec vyrovnat. Jak tě tato zkušenost změnila mentálně i fyzicky?</strong></p><p>Posunula mě jako člověka i jako zápasníka. Změnila… to bych úplně neřekl, spíše mi dovolila uvědomit si své priority. Právě proto se teď chci předvést perfektním výkonem v Brně.</p><p><strong>Kdo tě během té dlouhé pauzy nejvíce podporoval a co ti pomohlo udržet motivaci?</strong></p><p>Největší oporu mám v rodině, kam počítám tu svou, ale i přítelkyni a její rodinu. Stálo za mnou mnoho kamarádů a fanoušků. Podporu jsem měl opravdu velkou, právě z toho jsem načerpal ještě větší motivaci.</p><p><strong>Jaké jsou tvé dlouhodobé cíle v nové váhové kategorii? Máš už v hlavě další soupeře nebo titul?</strong></p><p>Soustředím se teď plně na zápas, který bude. Žádného dalšího soupeře nemám, ale určitě chci směřovat k titulu šampiona a stát se jím.</p><p><strong>Jsi stále mladý, ale už máš za sebou mnoho důležitých zápasů. Co bys poradil mladším zápasníkům, kteří chtějí dosáhnout podobného úspěchu?</strong></p><p>Osobně věřím, že největší klíč je v konzistenci a poctivosti. Takže vytrvat a být poctivý v tréninku, ale i mimo něj, sám k sobě. To znamená nezaměřovat se jen na trénink, ale i na regeneraci, stravu a vše okolo. Trénovat tvrdě a chytře.</p><p><strong>A jaký je Jakub mimo svět MMA? Co děláš, když zrovna netrénuješ nebo nepřemýšlíš o zápasech?</strong></p><p>Věnuji se józe a rád si jdu zahrát basket. Despite that, Fleury clearly took the first round. In the second round, Fleury showed Todev what a takedown means in OKTAGON for the first time. The second round was evenly matched, but Fleury turned the tide again in the third, demolishing the Bulgarian giant, and maintained that dominance into the penultimate five minutes. The fifth round reached an insane pace — Todev landed blows that would have finished most fighters, but Fleury endured and survived the impossible. He refused to go down — and it paid off. KOPERA</h2><p>An amazing comeback by Alan Omer. After battling a serious illness, he returned after five years — and won! However, Kopera was no easy opponent. The first two rounds clearly belonged to Alan, who dominated both standing and on the ground. The first round even saw a historic moment — for the first time in OKTAGON history, a broken mouthguard had to be replaced live during the broadcast. Omer handled it and carried on. Kopera fought back hard in the final round and momentarily became the king of the cage, but it wasn’t enough. ENOMOTO</h2><p>The first round was clearly Muradov’s — he hammered Enomoto with a relentless assault, though the Swiss samurai held up surprisingly well. The crowd may have expected Muradov to secure a points victory, but he quickly proved them wrong early in the second round! A brutal straight right, a flying knee, and a flurry of strikes on the ground sent Enomoto into darkness. A fantastic finish — and Muradov got exactly what he wanted: no injuries and a huge showdown with Patrik Kincl at Eden coming up!</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1124"></oktfightcomponent><h2>TIPSPORT PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT: BARTL VS. SCHWINDT</h2><p>This one was heart-stopping! Schwindt dominated the first round — the judges were unanimous. But what happened in the second round was total warfare. Schwindt came out swinging with brutal strikes, but Bartl quickly turned the tables and took Schwindt down. Both fighters absorbed massive damage, and the ground battle was a desperate fight for survival. Bartl briefly took control, but the advantage kept shifting until Schwindt regained dominance. He tortured Bartl on the ground, and just when the referee was ready to step in, Bartl always managed to hang on. Bartl’s heroic effort finally ended at 4:41 of the second round when Schwindt managed to finish him. A match to remember and an amazing performance from both fighters, crowned with a bonus for the winner for the best performance of the evening.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1156"></oktfightcomponent><h2>AYARI VS. STAHL</h2><p>The first main card fight delivered a hard-fought three-round battle. Stahl had a tough time in the opening round, absorbing heavy strikes from Ayari. The rest of the fight followed a similar pattern. In the second round, Stahl tried to take the fight to the ground, but Ayari defended well and forced the fight back to standing. Ayari seemed poised for victory and sealed the deal in the final round. As the fight drew to a close, Ayari countered an attack from Stahl and delivered a devastating KO — the first of the night. But the final round decided it all — Paulus seemed to lose steam or interest. Silva upped his activity, landing more strikes as Paulus faded. The fight remained close until the very end, but Silva celebrated confidently after the final bell — and rightly so. Both fighters came out fast, with Batobo quickly looking to take Batfalský to the ground. But Batfalský defended well and even held his own from the bottom. Batobo was quick with body shots and dominated the exchanges. But in the second round, Batfalský found a weakness — Batobo’s leg. After targeting it, Batobo became slower and visibly tired, while Batfalský stayed sharp and calm. Batobo’s leg eventually gave out, forcing him to retire. LORENZ</h2><p>We have a rising star! Two wins in two weeks — both in the first round — that’s Daniel Ligocki. He stepped up shortly after his victory in Třinec and dominated again. Lorenz managed to land some shots early on, but Ligocki responded with a clean right hook that briefly shut Lorenz down. Ligocki then finished him off on the ground with a fast submission.
