Během puberty se naplno projevil jeho sportovní potenciál, když se stal irským národním šampionem ve skoku do dálky. K bojovým sportům se paradoxně dostal až ve svých 22 letech, kdy začal úplnou náhodou trénovat brazilské jiu-jitsu. O pár let později se dostal k MMA – první amatérský zápas měl v roce 2021 a mezi profíky se představil teprve dva roky zpět. Přesto když dnes zápasí, působí jako zkušený veterán, čekající na soupeřovu chybu. Jeho (ne)popularitě přispělo také video z tréninku s UFC zápasníkem Paddym Pimblettem, který ho při sparingu chtěl usměrnit za jeho drzé narážky směrem k týmovým kolegům. <h2>NEZASTAVITELNÁ IRSKÁ BOUŘE</h2>Denis Frimpong rád mluví, ještě radšI ale svá slova potvrzuje v kleci.
