Od prvého zápasu v Bratislave uplynul takmer rok a ja cítim, že už nerobím také chyby ako vtedy. Ale to všetko priniesol čas. Verím, že jedného dňa budem patriť medzi tie najlepšie, ale všetko, čo potrebujem, je čas, trpezlivosť a tvrdá disciplína.</p><p><strong>Hrala teda rolu hlava a mentálna príprava?</strong></p><p>Práve po mentálnej stránke som urobila veľký pokrok a verím, že sa ešte posuniem. Už teraz vidím, že som opatrnejšia, viem, kedy poľaviť, čakať, kedy ísť opäť tvrdo do akcie. Prvá prehra bola veľmi náročná psychicky, ale teraz už sa na seba nehnevám. V tej dobe som bola nezrelá.</p><p><strong>Ako si toto dokázala vo svojej hlave zmeniť?</strong></p><p>Musela som sa s tým zmieriť a povedať si, že kvôli jednému prehratému zápasu sa nebudem trápiť, naopak budem pracovať na svojich slabinách, aby som z nich urobila svoje silné stránky. Myslela som na to, že mám skvelý život a musím na sebe pracovať, pretože prekážky k tomu jednoducho patria.</p><p><strong>Ako sa pozeráš na postavenie žien v MMA?</strong></p><p>Ženské zápasy milujem, sú pre mňa oveľa emotívnejšie, rada sa na ne pozerám. Cestu žien v MMA aj v iných športoch obdivujem, pretože sama viem, aké to je náročné. Obdivujem ženy za to, ako to všetko zvládajú a aké sú silné.</p><p><strong>Aké sú tie hlavné prekážky, ktoré ako ženy máte?</strong></p><p>Myslím, že naše výhry, prehry a emócie po zápase sú úplne iné než u mužov, a to sa mi páči, ženské MMA to celé robí krajším. Čo ma trápi, je to veľké chudnutie, čo ale nie je problém len u žien. </p><p><strong>Trénuješ aj s Luckou Szabovou, aké to je?</strong></p><p>Lucka je mi blízka ako človek a rozumiem si s ňou. Občas príde ona ku mne na týždeň, potom idem ja k nej, alebo ideme spolu na kemp. Tréning s ňou mi veľmi pomáha, nielen v tom, že cítim, že sa zlepšujem oveľa rýchlejšie, keď mám vedľa seba profesionálnu športovkyňu, ale hlavne po mentálnej stránke. Vidím, že zažíva rovnaké emócie ako ja. Za to som nesmierne vďačná.</p><p><strong>Môžeš to upresniť?</strong></p><p>Skôr som vôbec nevidela ženy, ktoré by trénovali napríklad s menštruáciou, a myslela som si, že som len ja tak citlivá, a že len pre mňa je tak náročné trénovať s mužmi. Ale keď trénujem s Luckou a vidím, že to prežíva rovnako, a veľa o tom spolu hovoríme, tak mi to nesmierne pomáha.</p><p><strong>Čo je pre teba na MMA najťažšie?</strong></p><p>Celkovo vnímam MMA ako jeden veľký diskomfort, veľmi to milujem, ale úprimne, nie vždy mám náladu na to, aby sa po mne váľali spotení chlapi. Niekedy absolútne nemám chuť na žiadny dotyk a musím sa premáhať. To je pre mňa jedna nepríjemná vec, a potom určite to chudnutie, je to pre mňa extrémny nekomfort, prijímať málo kalórií a vynakladať veľa energie. Ale aj keď sú tieto veci nepríjemné, po tréningu mám stále pocit šťastia a naplnenia.</p><p><strong>Ako vidíš svoju ďalšiu kariéru? Je nejaká súperka, o ktorú máš záujem?</strong></p><p>Najprv chcem samozrejme vyhrať tento zápas a potom bojovať s kýmkoľvek, koho mi tréneri schvália. Dlhodobým cieľom je získať titul v OKTAGONE a bojovať s tými najlepšími, chcem ísť čo najvyššie a zistiť, čo dokáže moje telo a čo dokážem ja, kam až som schopná to dotiahnuť.</p><p><strong>Budeš bojovať opäť na domácej pôde. Je to pre teba veľká motivácia, nastúpiť pred domácim publikom, alebo skôr tlak?</strong></p><p>Veľmi sa teším, tlak necítim. V prvom zápase som to ako tlak brala a odvtedy som veľa pracovala na svojej hlave – pomohla meditácia, motivačné filmy, rozhovory s trénermi. Zistila som, že čím väčší tlak na seba budem vyvíjať, tým horšie to bude. Teraz sa na ľudí veľmi teším – na každého, kto ma bude podporovať, ale aj na tých, ktorí mi neveria, to je mi jedno. Ja idem robiť to, čo milujem.</p><oktfightcomponent fightid="1038"></oktfightcomponent><p><strong>Ako ide súčasná príprava?</strong></p><p>Som veľmi spokojná a často sa uisťujem aj u trénerov, ktorí mi to potvrdzujú. Cítim sa dobre, teraz už musím len prežiť tento týždeň, doladiť váhu a vydržať, kým navážim. Hlavne aby to bolo bez zranenia – inak sa totiž cítim perfektne.</p><p><strong>Ako vidíš svoju súperku, čo od nej očakávaš? Je niečo, čo by si jej odkázala?</strong></p><p>Čakám, že ma bude chcieť dostať na zem, možno na pletivo, ale vlastne sa na to veľmi nechcem zameriavať. THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE</h2><p>Things get wild in the OKTAGON cage, and sometimes the judges might get bored! Finishes before the limit are much more common than decisions. There have been <strong>284 KOs</strong> and TKOs, and <strong>152 submissions</strong>, across <strong>16</strong> different submission techniques. In the first round, fights ended 262 times, more often by KO. A total of <strong>280</strong> fights have gone the distance and ended by decision.</p><h2>DRAWS? NOT REALLY!</h2><p>Draws are rare here – it’s usually all or nothing. Across 62 events, there have only been <strong>7</strong> draws, with two "no contests" (can you remember who caused them?). Not to mention the battle with sleepiness at 1 AM during the press conference!</p><h2>FINISHES GALORE</h2><p>Blink, and you would’ve missed <strong>OKTAGON 12</strong> – where a record number of KOs and TKOs were set in one night, totaling <strong>9</strong>. A few precise strikes and a clear win by decision sent the Belgian star to the final of the elite pyramid. Fry wasn’t easy to outsmart, confirming his reputation as a dangerous opponent, especially when he landed a precise head kick on Vlado and continued with kicks to the body. But with Lengál, you don’t mess around in the stand-up. While the first round was fairly balanced, in the second, the local favorite started asserting himself. SIKKING</h2><p>The last dance of a long and incredible career! According to UNDERGROUND rules, Hron got his rematch with Fred Sikking, who wanted to settle the score with the Czech legend. The Czech fighter enjoyed his final ride thoroughly and showcased everything he had learned over the years – unleashing brutal strikes of all kinds and giving Brno an amazing shootout. After the first round, the doctor stopped the battered Sikking, and it was clear – Hron defeated his opponent for the second time, this time before the limit. The winner then ended his career in an unusual way, handing one of his gloves to his coach. CARTWRIGHT</h2><p>Once again, it didn’t go well for Sanikidze in the bantamweight division. At the start, it looked like a very promising chokehold that Cartwright nearly succumbed to! But it didn’t work out. From then on, the British fighter took control of the game. There was no shortage of submission attempts from both sides, but Cartwright had the upper hand today. STAINES</h2><p>A clash of two massive Czech talents brought some truly intense moments. SARDARI</h2><p>Although Korkmaz has amazed fans twice before and even gave Rony a tough time, tonight wasn’t his night. Only at the end of the second round did he come back with a solid head kick, dramatically intensifying the situation in the cage. Niklas Stolze took home the Performance of the Night bonus, the winner of PROJECT Y was crowned, and we saw two amazing comebacks from Bartl and Bahník. Hromek surprised us on the ground, while the Czech-Slovak team left disappointed, with Handanagić, Kohout, and even Buchinger returning home without victory. Meanwhile, the local crowd celebrated the performances of Akipa, Palokaj, and perhaps even Shaaban. We also witnessed the amazing victory of Nazhand and his Rear Naked Choke. One of the judges even had the local fighter as the winner, but Bahník convincingly claimed the split decision victory and called out Shem Rock after the fight! HANDANAGIĆ</h2><p>He came, he saw, he choked him out. Unlike his previous close win, today there was nothing to question – Nazhand silenced all his doubters. Two opponents dropped out due to illness, and Arteaga stepped in at the last moment. Palokaj fought determined and well-prepared, though his opponent still showed dangerous moments. ENZ</h2><p>Win or lose? Hassan Shaaban convinced most of the judges in the three-round fight and won by split decision, but among fans, he lost tonight. Kevin Enz rallied late in the third round, and things were looking hopeful, but Shaaban managed to escape the choke, much to the disappointment of the crowd. Shaaban’s over-the-top gestures and attitude after the fight didn’t help either, as the arena made their feelings clear. Three rounds that had everyone holding their breath, Akipa and Schober gave it their all with unbelievable intensity. Outstanding performances from both fighters with no sign of quitting. Right up until the end, it was unclear who would win on points – even to the fighters themselves, who both celebrated in the cage and raised their arms in victory. Although Akipa stumbled a bit in the final round, it wasn’t enough to take away his unanimous decision victory. Despite all the hardships, he never forgot his roots. Every time he steps into the cage, he proudly carries the Afghan flag, representing his country, which he has not turned his back on, even though the new regime forced him to leave.</p><h2>HUMBLE BEGINNINGS</h2><p>He always dreamed of becoming a fighter. As a child, he admired the heroes on posters and wished to be like them when he grew up. But the path to his dream wasn't easy. Before becoming a champion, he worked as a bookseller, earning just 63 euro cents a day. Yet, he never stopped training and believing that one day he would break through. His first fight in 2015 took place under very modest conditions—in a dark and dirty room, where water from a leaking pipe dripped directly into the cage. Vyrůstá sice bez táty, užívá si ale hezké dětství. V pěti letech začíná chodit na judo, které má v Hradci silné zázemí. Chvíli ho dělá spíše z donucení, postupně ale sportu zcela propadá.</p><p></p><h3>DIVOKÉ DOSPÍVÁNÍ A DOBA TEMNA</h3><p>V 15 letech začíná s boxem, následně zkouší thaibox a zanedlouho i MMA, které se mu stane osudným. Dostává se ale do špatné party, živí se jako vyhazovač a škodlivé vlivy ho rychle pohltí. Jeho divoké dospívání v 18 letech tvrdě vrcholí. Je odsouzen za vydírání, poškozování a omezování osobní svobody na více než 2 roky, propuštěn je ale v polovině trestu. Ví, že si trest zaslouží a lituje svých činů. Ve věznici je navíc krutě napaden spoluvězněm a dostává se do dalšího kolečka soudů, ač nyní jako oběť. Se spoluvězni chodí tajně posilovat a v cele se den co den dívá na plakát George St-Pierra, který si vytrhl z časopisu <em>Bojová umění</em>. Každý den ho žene dál k tomu stát se lepším sportovcem a člověkem. Dostává velkou životní lekci, ze které se následně poučí a obrátí svůj život o 180 stupňů – a tentokrát k lepšímu.</p><p></p><h3>ZE DNA NA VRCHOL</h3><p>I díky zkušenosti z naprostého dna se stává vytrvalým a úspěšným sportovcem, jakým je dnes. Po pauze <strong>se věnuje MMA naplno a v roce 2014</strong> získává svůj první titul. Následně sbírá zkušenosti z tuzemských i zahraničních organizací. V roce 2018 dostává short notice nabídku (= zápas na poslední chvíli) z UFC. Tu ale nakonec odmítne kvůli zápasu s Karlosem Vémolou na XFN 11. Souboj prohrává a začíná se tak psát <strong>dlouhá kapitola s názvem Kincl vs. Vémola</strong>. Nevzdává se a kariéru buduje dál. Sahá si tak i na titulovou šanci v KSW. <strong>V roce 2021 podepisuje smlouvu v OKTAGON MMA</strong>&nbsp; a hned v prvním zápase si odnáší <strong>pás šampiona střední váhy</strong>, když na body poráží „Piráta“ Kryštofiče.<strong> O titul se ho následně pokouší připravit Alex Lohoré</strong>, kterého Kincl ukončí už v 1. kole, a je tak do té doby nejrychlejším obhájcem titulu vůbec. Třetím dosavadním zápasem je pak <strong>odveta s Karlosem Vémolou</strong>, ze které se po prvním odsunutém termínu stává naprostý fenomén a <strong>nejsledovanější zápas v historii česko-slovenského MMA vůbec</strong>. Vše doprovází vyhrocený trash talk a dusno je tak ještě dlouho před nástupem do klece. Zápas, o kterém ví snad každý na území České a Slovenské republiky,<strong> vyhrává Kincl na body</strong>, a je tak úplně prvním Čechem, který Karlose porazil. Obwohl er ohne Vater aufwächst, hat er eine schöne Kindheit. Mit fünf Jahren beginnt er mit dem Judo, das in Hradec Králové eine starke Tradition hat. Zuerst macht er es mehr aus Zwang, aber schließlich verfällt er ganz dem Sport.</p><p></p><h3>WILDE JUGEND UND DIE DUNKLE ZEIT</h3><p>Mit 15 Jahren beginnt er mit dem Boxen, dann versucht er es mit dem Thaiboxen und bald darauf mit MMA, was ihm zum Verhängnis wird. Er gerät an die falschen Leute, arbeitet als Türsteher und die schädlichen Einflüsse verschlingen ihn schnell. Seine wilde Jugend findet mit 18 Jahren einen harten Höhepunkt. Er wird wegen Erpressung, Sachbeschädigung und Freiheitsberaubung zu mehr als 2 Jahren Haft verurteilt, wird aber nach der Hälfte der Zeit entlassen. Er weiß, dass er die Strafe verdient hat und bedauert seine Taten. Im Gefängnis wird er von einem Mithäftling brutal angegriffen und gerät wieder in einen Prozess, diesmal allerdings als Opfer. Er trainiert heimlich mit seinen Mitgefangenen und schaut sich in seiner Zelle jeden Tag ein Poster von George St-Pierre an, das er aus der Zeitschrift <em>Kampfsport</em> herausriss. Jeder Tag motiviert ihm weiter, ein besserer Sportler und Mensch zu werden. Er bekommt eine große Lebenslektion, lernt daraus und krempelt sein Leben um – diesmal zum Besseren.</p><p></p><h3>VON UNTEN NACH OBEN</h3><p>Auch durch schlechte Erfahrungen wird er zum ausdauernden und erfolgreichen Sportler, der er heute ist. Nach einer Pause widmet er sich ganz dem MMA und gewinnt im <strong>Jahr 2014 seinen ersten Titel</strong>. Danach sammelt er Erfahrungen bei heimischen und ausländischen Organisationen. Im Jahr 2018 bekommt er ein Short-Notice-Angebot (=Last-Minute-Kampf) von der UFC. Doch er lehnt es wegen eines Kampfs gegen Karlos Vémola bei XFN 11 ab. Er verliert den Kampf und es beginnt ein<strong> langes Kapitel mit dem Titel „Kincl vs. Vémola“</strong>. Er gibt nicht auf und arbeitet weiter an seiner Karriere. Er strebt auch einen Titel bei KSW an.<strong> Im Jahr 2021 unterschreibt er einen Vertrag mit OKTAGON MMA</strong> und gleich im ersten Kampf gewinnt er den Champion-Gürtel im Mittelgewicht, nachdem er den „Piraten“ Kryštofič nach Punkten besiegt hat. <strong>Alex Lohoré versuchte ihm den Titel abzunehmen</strong>, doch Kincl schlug ihn in der ersten Runde k.o. und wurde so zum schnellsten Titelverteidiger. Der dritte bisherige Kampf ist die <strong>Revanche gegen Karlos Vémola</strong>, die nach der ersten Terminverschiebung zum Phänomen und zum meistgesehenen Kampf in der Geschichte des tschechisch-slowakischen MMA wird. He has a background in judo and boxing, so his fighting style is quite complex.</p><h2>PATRIK'S STORY: A JUDOKA WHO HIT ROCK BOTTOM</h2><h3>PATRIK KINCL'S CHILDHOOD</h3><p>On a hot July day in 1989, little Patrik was born in Hradec Králové. Although he grew up without a father, he had a good childhood. At the age of five, he started taking judo lessons, a martial art which enjoys great popularity in Hradec. For a while, he did it mostly out of obligation, but the sport eventually found its way to his heart.</p><p></p><h3>WILD ADOLESCENCE AND THE DARK AGES</h3><p>At the age of 15, he started boxing, then tried his hand at Thai boxing and soon after also MMA, which would prove to be a fateful decision. He started running with the wrong crowd, made a living as a bouncer and the bad influences all around quickly consumed him. His wild adolescence reached a tough climax at 18. He was sentenced to prison for over two years for extortion, criminal damage, and restraint, but was released halfway through his sentence. He was aware he deserved the punishment and regretted his actions. And to make matters worse, he was brutally attacked by a fellow inmate in prison, which landed him into another round of court dates, but now as the victim. He secretly worked out with his fellow inmates while incarcerated, daily looking up at a poster of George St-Pierre ripped out of a martial art magazine in his cell. Each day drove him to become a better sportsman and person. Having learned a valuable lesson, he did a 180 and turned his life around – this time for the better.</p><p></p><h3>FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP</h3><p>Hitting rock bottom was, among other things, what allowed him to become the persistent and successful sportsman he is today. After taking a break, he devoted himself fully to MMA, <strong>winning his first title in 2014</strong>. Subsequently, he gained experience from both local and international organizations. In 2018, he received a short-notice offer from the UFC, which he ultimately had to turn down due to his upcoming fight with Karlos Vémola at XFN 11. He came out of the fight a loser, and thus began <strong>the long chapter called Kincl vs. Vémola</strong>. But he didn't give up and continued to build his career, working his way up to a title fight in KSW. <strong>In 2021, he signed a contract with OKTAGON MMA</strong> and started his career with the organization by defeating "The Pirate" Kryštofič on points and taking the middleweight championship belt. <strong>Alex Lohoré made an attempt to take the title from him</strong>, but Kincl beat him in the 1st round, making him the fastest title defender ever. The win secured him the status of a sports celebrity, an influx of fans, and divided the world into two teams – Team Patrik and Team Karlos.</p><p></p><h3>PATRIK KINCL, COACH OF THE STARS</h3><p>Apart from wrestling, Patrik works as a coach in All-Sports Academy in Hradec Králové, a gym he built up into a gym for the stars. He trains fighters recognized by every MMA fan – the legendary Jarda "Jubox" Pokorný, Jakub Bahník or UFC fighter David Dvořák.
